Free Agricultural Pesticide Collection Event - May 9th

Pesticide Users Are Encouraged to Drop-off Unused Pesticides at Free Event on May 9th.
 
Commercial growers, sprayers, agricultural landowners and industrial businesses from Coos, Curry and Douglas Counties can register to bring unwanted agricultural pesticides and containers to the Beaver Hill Transfer Station on Saturday, May 9, 2015, 8AM to 2PM, for the Free Agricultural Pesticide Collection Event.
 
This is a one-time, anonymous pesticide waste collection event for farmers, growers, and other commercial and institutional operations located in Coos, Curry and surrounding counties.

When and Where?
Saturday, May 9 - 8AM to 2PM
Beaver Hill Transfer Station Highway 101
14 miles south of Coos Bay
(1/4 mile south of Milepost 253 on Highway 101)

Who’s Invited?
All Coos, Curry and Douglas County commercial growers, sprayers, agricultural land-owners and industrial businesses who have  agricultural pesticides and containers for disposal.

What Will Be Accepted?
Pesticides like DDT, acetamiprid (Assail), car-baryl (Sevin), imidacoprid (Admire, Gaucho, Provado, Marathon) and other leftover pesticides (must pre-register) Empty, triple-rinsed or pressure washed plastic pesticide containers (no registration needed) Size limit: 55 gallon HDPE

REGISTRATION BY APRIL 25TH IS REQUIRED! (All information is kept confidential)
