The City of Bandon has initiated an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code to address Coastal Public Access. The City received financial support and technical assistance from the Department of Land Conservation and Development to conduct an inventory of public access points to coastal waters, develop a set of goals and policies addressing the protection and maintenance of these access points, and prepare a zoning code update to implement these goals and policies.
